Public Invited to Contribute to Consultations on Abortion

The Joint Select Committee of the Houses of Parliament set up to consider the Final Report of the Ministry of Health, Jamaica Abortion Policy Review Advisory Group, will be staging public consultations to discuss the issue of abortion.
Members of the public will hear presentations on the issue and have the opportunity to air their views.These consultations will be held as follows:
Wednesday, January 20 – Montego Bay Civic Centre (Montego Bay St. James) Wednesday, January 27 – Morant Villas (Morant Bay St. Thomas) Wednesday, February 3 – Glenmuir High School (May Pen Clarendon)
The public is invited to attend the events, which will be held at 5: 30 pm each day.
