On Monday, March 18, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) will host a Change of Command Ceremony at the Commissioner’s Office, Old Hope Road, Kingston 6.

As a result, we anticipate unusual traffic congestion, particularly along Old Hope Road, and issue the following advisory:

-Given the anticipated congestion, we urge all motorists to drive responsibly and with patience.

-Cooperate with the police personnel who will be managing traffic flow to ensure a safe and orderly travel experience.

-Use alternate routes where possible.
