Prime Minister Golding to Address the Nation Tonight

The nation will hear from the country’s leader this evening, (May 17) when Prime Minister Bruce Golding delivers a national broadcast on all radio and television stations starting at 8:30 p.m.
Since last Thursday, the Prime Minister has been holding consultations with several interest groups following his announcements in Parliament on Tuesday in relation to the Manatt, Phelps and Phillips issue.
Minister with Responsibility for Information, Daryl Vaz, said the Prime Minister has been consulting with the JLP’s executive bodies, Parliamentarians, religious groups and representatives of the Partnership for Transformation.
Yesterday, the JLP’s Central Executive met in Ocho Rios during which the party discussed the Manatt, Phelps and Phillips issue and the calls for Prime Minister Golding’s resignation.
This evening’s broadcast by the Prime Minister will be aired on all radio and television stations at 8:30 p.m.
