‘The government will not allow criminal elements to continue to terrorise law abiding citizens. We promised to intensify our police and military operations for this year and we will continue to keep up the pressure’, Mr. Golding stated.
The Prime Minister has ordered the army to maintain a presence in the Gravel Heights Community until the situation is returned to normal.
Over the past three weeks residents from sections of the Gravel Heights community have been forced to flee their homes in the face of violence and under threats from criminals.
