The HFJ partnered with the National Health Fund (NHF) to provide free health checks, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and others, to students, teachers and community members.

The Jamaica Information Service (JIS) participates in the St. Catherine High School’s 14th annual health fair held on March 20 at the school’s campus in Spanish Town. From left are Driver, Michael Samuels; Computer Services System Administrator (Acting), Jaleel Powell; Web Developer/Designer, Abbagay Richards; Special Projects Officer, Romona Geohaghan and Special Projects Manager, Paul Allen. The team provided information about the service offerings of the JIS and issued health-related brochures on various topics such as “Mental Health Awareness”, “Cancer Awareness”, “How To Make A Will”, and others. The event, which focusses on holistic health, targeted the school population, the wider community and St. Catherine environs and featured a Gospel Concert, exhibitions from various agencies and free medical testing.
