They were interacting with residents while issuing masks during a tour of the area on Friday (August 7). On Thursday (August 6), the Government imposed a 14-day quarantine in the community following a recent increase in coronavirus (COVID-19) cases. A public health team is in the area conducting contact tracing, sampling of persons and public education. The quarantine became effective on Thursday (August 6) and will run until Thursday (August 20). The Sandy Bay community in Clarendon was also placed under a 14-day quarantine on August 6.
