The occasion was the British Council Caribbean STEAM Innovation Challenge closing ceremony held on Friday (May 3) at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel in Kingston. Looking on at second left is Chief Education Officer in the Ministry, Terry-Ann Thomas-Gayle. The competition aimed to support the development of the science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) ecosystem, by supporting training in schools and strengthening creativity and innovation among students.
