The newborn, who weighed 2.80 kilogrammes (approximately 6.17 pounds), arrived at 8:17 a.m. Dr. Tufton, who visited the hospital, presented Ms. Broodie with a gift basket containing personal care items courtesy of the Cari-Med Group/Kirk Distributors Limited.
