Health Minister, Hon. The analyzer will boost the services provided by the hospital’s Paediatric Cardiac Surgery Unit, which attends to babies and young children suffering from congenital heart disease, in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. The new machine replaced an older version, which was leased by the hospital.

Medical Solutions Limited is the local distributor for Denmark-based medical firm, Radiometer International, which manufactures the machine. Medical Solutions was instrumental in assisting the Kingston Rotary Club to source the US$62,000 machine, which replaced an older version that was leased by the hospital. The analyzer will boost the services provided by the hospital’s Paediatric Cardiac Surgery Unit, which attends to babies and young children suffering from congenital heart disease in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.
