Chairman of the Board of the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA), Hon. B. St. Michael Hylton, has announced the appointment of Leroy Lindsay as Director General of the JCAA. Mr. Lindsay’s appointment takes effect November 1.

Mr. Lindsay has a wealth of experience in the aviation industry, having worked with the Royal Air Force in the United Kingdom in Air Traffic Control and Operations.  He later joined Air Jamaica Limited and held positions of Senior Flight Dispatcher and System Operations Manager.

Mr. Lindsay has also worked with the Emirates Airline in Dubai as Fleet Manager; Airbus; and as an International Aviation Consultant with the International Air Transport Association.

“On behalf of the Board, Management and Staff of the JCAA, we congratulate Mr. Lindsay and wish him success,” Mr. Hylton said.
