The Full Story

The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) will host the eighth staging of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Examination Student Sensitisation webinar on February 8.

The event will target fourth and fifth form students sitting the CSEC Geography examination, and aid them in preparing their School-Based Assessment (SBA) papers.

A Ministry of Education and Youth bulletin indicates that the session is intended to sensitise students and teachers about the resources available and foster an appreciation of the correlation between humans and the environment.

The CSEC Geography syllabus was used to select the topics being covered.

These include Pollution, Coral Reefs, Mangroves, and Deforestation.

Additionally, students will be taught how to conduct water-quality testing.

Stakeholders have hailed previous sessions as being valuable in helping to prepare students for their CSEC exams.

NEPA understands the importance of partnership in preserving the environment and is desirous of seeing more students benefit from a similar experience.

Consequently, schools are being invited to encourage students and teachers to participate in the webinar.

CSEC Geography students are being encouraged to register by using the link https://iteneri.com/nepa.
