NCMC Chairperson Calls on Perpetrators to Leave the Children Alone

Chairperson of the National Child Month Committee (NCMC), Dr. Pauline Mullings, is making a passionate appeal to the perpetrators of crimes against children, to desist from those dastardly deeds.
“We can only appeal to the perpetrators to stop what they are doing. Don’t destroy our children and don’t destroy their innocence. Give them a chance to grow up, give them a chance to fulfill their purpose for which they were made,” she told JIS News in an interview.
“Let us love our children, let us care for each and every one of them as if they belong to us…I appeal to those who are doing it and I appeal to adults to be vigilant and take everybody’s child as if it’s your child and love them, care for them,” she urged.
According to Dr. Mullings, parents need to embrace a variety of strategies to keep their children safe.
