The Full Story

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across Jamaica are encouraged to join the Jamaica Business Development Corporation’s (JBDC’s) upcoming ‘Biz Zone’ scheduled for Tuesday (October 1).

The virtual event, which starts at 10:00 a.m., will facilitate discussion on the topic ‘How Digital Technologies Can Boost Competitiveness’.

It will be led by Chief Executive Officer of GetPAID Suite and 2019 JBDC BOSS Man of the Year, Leighton Campbell.

With his extensive expertise in digital transformation, Mr. Campbell will explore the critical role that digital tools and technologies can play in enhancing business operations, improving customer engagement, and increasing market access for local enterprises.

MSMEs seeking to gain a competitive edge through digital transformation are encouraged to register before the September 30 deadline to secure their spot.

Registration can be done by completing the form available at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZUldOmsqTMjGtL_C2BB2-cEUHHyxcdCC6Gd.

Persons may also visit the JBDC website or contact the agency at 876-928-5161 or via email at bizzone@jbdc.net for further information.

Biz Zone forms part of the JBDC’s ongoing commitment to fostering growth and innovation among MSMEs by equipping them with practical strategies to remain competitive in today’s increasingly digitalised global marketplace.
