Minister with responsibility for Information, Senator Sandrea Falconer left the island today (October 14) for Seoul, South Korea where she will participate in an invitation programme for Foreign Congressmen and Ministers. The Programme is being hosted by the South Korean Government.
While in Korea Minister Falconer will visit that country’s National Assembly, industrial and cultural sites, as well as engage in a series of meetings with high level personnel within the Korean Government, including the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Minister Falconer will also visit and hold talks with the Korean Broadcasting System, Korean Culture and Information Service, Korean International Cooperation Agency and Samsung Electronics. The delegation includes Mr Keith Campbell, Chief Executive Officer of the Public Broadcasting Corporation of Jamaica, PBCJ.
Minister Falconer will return to the island on October 20, 2012.
