Minister with Responsibility for the Public Service in the Ministry of Finance and Planning (MOFP), the Hon. Horace Dalley, has assured workers employed under the South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) that immediate steps will be taken to resolve the outstanding issues relating to the non-remittal of salary deductions.

Minister Dalley made the disclosure on Friday, May 1, at a high level meeting involving representatives of the Public Sector Monitoring Committee (PSMC), the leadership of SERHA and the Ministries of Finance and Health.

The discussions explored several options that would be activated in short order to clear up the outstanding arrears at SERHA.

Minister Dalley reiterated the Government’s commitment to resolving those matters in the best interests of all.
