Manchester Minimum Wage Consultations Postponed

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has advised that a National Minimum Wage consultation scheduled for the Manchester Club, Mandeville, Tuesday (March 2), has been rescheduled to Thursday (March 4) at the same venue starting at 2:00 p.m.
The 2010 consultations by the Minimum Wage Advisory Commission are to garner the views of workers, including industrial security guards, and other interested persons and organisations, on an increase in the National Minimum Wage.
The Ministry’s Regional Director, Vellnor Grant, is encouraging persons in Clarendon, Manchester and St. Elizabeth, to come out and share their views with the Commission.
The first in the series of consultations will be held at the Old Marina, Portland, on Wednesday (March 3) at 10:00 a.m.
