Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Andrew Holness, will be the special guest on the monthly series ‘Let’s Connect with Ambassador Marks’ on Wednesday (December 6) at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
The upcoming forum, hosted by Ambassador to the United States (US), Her Excellency Audrey Marks, will give the Prime Minister an opportunity to engage with and deliver his Christmas message to members of the diaspora in the US.
The Prime Minister will be joined on the programme by Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Minister, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith.
Prime Minister Holness arrived in Washington DC on Monday evening (December 4) for a four-day working visit and was met on arrival at the Ronald Reagan International Airport by Ambassador Marks.
He was accompanied by Senator Johnson Smith.
Let’s Connect with Ambassador Marks enables members of the diaspora to communicate directly with the Ambassador about matters of interest to them and to be updated on government’s policies and programmes, as well as the Embassy’s activities.
Ambassador Marks is occasionally joined by distinguished guests, including United States government officials, key players of various local and international organisations, and prominent members of the Jamaican diaspora.
Thursday’s forum will be streamed live on the Ambassador’s social media pages.
