The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) will be the official transportation for Denbigh 2014, over the Emancipation Day holiday weekend.

Over 30 JUTC buses will be available to transport patrons to and from the Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial and Food Show in May Pen, Clarendon, from Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 3.

Addressing a ‘JIS Think’ recently, President of the Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS), Senator Norman Grant, said 10 buses will be assigned to each pick-up point with destination signs displayed.  Flyers will also be distributed to inform passengers of JUTC’s involvement in Denbigh 2014.

Pick-up points are Half-Way Tree Transport Centre at 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.; Portmore Mall Lay-by at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.; and the JUTC Bus Park in Spanish Town at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The return journey will see the buses departing Denbigh at 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. daily.

Tickets to travel on the JUTC buses for Denbigh will be available at a cost of $1,000 for each return trip from all three pick-up points.
