More than one hundred Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and General Managers are expected to attend the Jamaica Employers’ Federation (JEF) CEO Breakfast Series, to be held at the Wyndham Hotel in Kingston.
Speaking with JIS News, CEO of the JEF, Brenda Cuthbert, pointed out that the series will begin on Tuesday, April 3 at 7:30 a.m., with four others to be held in June, August, September and November.
“These breakfast meetings are geared to provide another opportunity for our members and potential members to meet over breakfast to network, and most times we have a current affairs speaker,” Mrs. Cuthbert said.

The guest speaker for the April breakfast meeting will be the Minister of Transport, Works and Housing, Hon. Dr. Omar Davies.
“He will address national issues and other matters that are happening in the environment that we think are critical and need to be dealt with at this time,” Mrs. Cuthbert noted.
Attendees will also provide feedback and share best practices within the organisation and workplace environment.
Mrs. Cuthbert pointed out that JEF has been hosting these breakfast series for the past four years in Kingston, adding that there are discussions taking place on the possibility of having similar meetings in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.
The meetings are at no cost, but by invitation to the attendees. In addition to CEOs and general managers, JEF has invited members of the diplomatic corps, as “this is also an opportunity for them to come in and see, address and network with the business community,” she highlighted.
Sponsors for the breakfast series include: AMECO, DHL, Toyota Jamaica, Heart Trust/NTA, National Commercial Bank, Wyndham Hotel and COK Sodality Credit Union.
