JAMPRO ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT

The Chairman and Board of Directors of the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) are pleased to announce the appointment of Robert L. Gregory as President of JAMPRO effective March 1, 2007.
Mr. Gregory, who has been Executive Director at the HEART Trust NTA for the past 15 years, brings to JAMPRO a wealth of experience in the areas of Management, Human Resource and Manpower Development.
During his tenure at HEART he oversaw the restructuring of the organization resulting in a more effective enabling facility for occupational and workforce training. He has also represented the Government of Jamaica internationally on Labour, Productivity and Workforce issues.
Mr, Gregory brings to JAMPRO a thorough knowledge of the export manufacturing sector and is the current Vice Chairman of the National Council on Education.
He is also Chairman of the Board of Governors at the Kingston Technical High School and an Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew.
