Jamaica Post is on track to shortly establish another Premium Service Centre.

Postmaster General, Lincoln Allen, says this centre will be opened at the Liguanea Post Mall in St. Andrew and will be in addition to facilities established at several other locations.

These include the Central Sorting Office (CSO) in Kingston and the Montego Bay #1 Post Office in St. James.

Among the services offered at these centres are Klick ‘N’ Ship for online shoppers, Zip Mail for next-day local courier service, and international express services like Fast Track and EMS.

Mr. Allen was speaking on Tuesday (September 17) during the Liguanea Post Office’s reopening and rebranding ceremony.

“As our society evolves, so too do the needs of our customers. With advancements in and reliance on technology, coupled with the rapid growth of e-commerce, Jamaica Post remains committed to meeting these demands by offering a diverse range of products,” Mr. Allen said.

Persons can now access these premium services at the renovated Liguanea Post Office while work is being completed on the Premium Service Centre.

“Jamaica Post continues to position itself as a one-stop shop for several products and services in our pursuit to modernise the postal service,” Mr. Allen said.

“Our goal is to transform post offices islandwide by improving infrastructure, expanding service offerings, improving our digital capacity and capability, establishing new as well as strengthening existing strategic partnerships and, ultimately, the customer experience,” the Postmaster General added.

Jamaica Post is a Department of Government under the Office of the Prime Minister.

It manages the island’s network of more than 200 Post Offices and 165 Postal Agencies.
