IIPT International Community Tourism Retreat, Adds Tourism Heritage & Peace Day Celebration on June 22, 2008, Kingston, Jamaica


The first IIPT International Community Tourism Retreat will be held in Jamaica June 21-23, 2008 at the Jamaica Pegasus, Kingston.
A special added feature of this historical event is the IIPT Community Tourism Heritage & Peace Day celebrated on Sunday June 22, 2008. Delegates will experience a Peace Service from 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Inner Peace & Wellness Presentation by Sharon Chambers – Founding Member, Jamaica Wellness Cluster and President of Positive Tourism Network with added special guest performance poets of IION Station, Indigenous Healers and members of the Wellness Cluster.
There are other scheduled events that are sure to please: Sponsor/Booth holders’ presentations, prizes, community talent show and surprises.
The Mighty Beestons Mento Band from Beeston Spring Village, Westmoreland delights with timeless music and will be joined by other exciting community entertainers.
Contributions for this exciting programme is JA$500 for adults and JA$200 for children/students with ID. Part-proceeds of this programme will assist community tourism projects.
