The Government of Jamaica (GOJ) issued a Hurricane Watch for the island at 10 this morning (July 1).

This indicates that conditions associated with a hurricane are possible within 48 hours.

Hurricane Beryl has now entered the eastern Caribbean, posing a threat to Jamaica, with a potential impact expected on Wednesday this week.
