Grange Saddened by Death of Former National Cricketer Gladstone Robinson

The Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Honourable Olivia Grange, has said that she was deeply saddened by news of the death of the former Jamaica cricketer Gladstone Robinson.
Minister Grange praised Mr. Robinson’s versatility. “He excelled in cricket as a schoolboy but also played Manning Cup football for his alma mater, St. Jago High School before going to represent Boys’ Town Cricket Club and Jamaica.”
The Minister noted that Mr. Robinson, who was an attorney, had also served Melbourne Cricket Club as a vice-president.
“I extend to my condolences to Mr. Robinson’s family, friends and his colleagues, especially those in the cricketing fraternity”, said Minister Grange.
