The Full Story

Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill, the largest Caribbean franchise chain in the United States, has teamed with the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) to promote Jamaica as a premier tourist destination.
Golden Krust has launched a two-month “Jamaica Escape” promotion in its stores in the northeast region of the United States.
In March and April, consumers in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts can visit participating Golden Krust locations, for a chance to enter the sweepstakes to win a dream Jamaican getaway.
The main feature of the “Jamaica Escape” promotion is that each month, two trips will be given away, one to Montego Bay and one to Kingston, with roundtrips from New York’s JFK airport provided by JetBlue. Speaking at the launch on Saturday (March 13) at Golden Krust Caribbean Grill in Flatbush, New York, JTB Business Development Manager (New York/Southern Connecticut), Christopher Dobson, said he was pleased that Golden Krust welcomed the idea to join forces with the JTB to stage this promotion.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for Golden Krust consumers to win a trip to Jamaica and experience the island’s cuisine with a variety of culinary offerings, attractions and excitement as Jamaica has a unique offering for everyone,” he said.
Golden Krust’s Marketing and PR Manager, Candice Richards, said that the company is excited to be able to partner with the JTB, and all the other sponsors, to promote travel to Jamaica, while providing incentives to its customers.
“What a wonderful way to reward our customers for their loyal patronage. This is just a natural synergy that is a win-win for all partners involved,” she said.
