GG Leaves the Island Today for Six-Day Visit to New York

Governor-General, His Excellency the Most Hon. Professor Kenneth O. Hall, leaves the island today (Sept. 13) for a six -day visit to New York.
While in New York, the Governor-General will deliver the keynote address at the 15th anniversary fundraising dinner and dance of the Rusea’s Old Students Association, New York Chapter, on Saturday, September 16 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, JFK Airport. His Excellency is a past student of Ruseas High School, which is located in Hanover.
Professor Hall will be accompanied by his Aide-de-Camp, Captain Samuel Ellis.
During his absence, the Very Rev. Canon the Honourable Weeville Gordon, CD, Custos of Kingston, will serve as Deputy Governor-General.
Professor Hall will return to the island on Monday, September 18.
