The fifth staging of the Woman Ignite Success Summit (WISS) will be held on January 31, 2026, at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston.
The event will offer women a full day of empowerment sessions and practical guidance under the theme ‘Elevate’.
Founder of the Summit, Keneshia Nooks-Blake, said the annual event has become a transformative space for women to develop holistically.
“It’s a summit, it’s a gathering of women coming together to accomplish one goal. That one goal is to empower us, to bring us to a place where we can understand the theme this year, how to elevate,” she told JIS News during the media launch on November 27 at The Jamaica Pegasus.
Mrs. Nooks-Blake noted that the event follows what she describes as a “360 approach”, addressing “the mind, the body, the soul, the spirit, the finances… everything that concerns us”.
The 2026 staging will last from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will feature back-to-back sessions delivered by experts and speakers with lived experiences. In total, 10 speakers are scheduled to participate.
Among them are mental health expert, Brittainy Noel, whose session will be “literally… a live therapy session”, Apostle Stephanie Ike Okafor will provide guidance on spiritual and faith-based development; while local presenter, Shani McGraham- Shirley, will lead a session on physical wellness.
Mrs. Nooks-Blake said attendees can expect “a full experience, a full, rich day of just empowering, uplifting, and bringing a sense of wholeness to ourselves and to our communities”.
The summit targets women 18 years and older, though participation consistently ranges from young adults to seniors. “At every age and stage in life, there’s something to learn,” she said, noting steady growth in attendance each year.
In addition to the conference, the event supports the charitable work of the Woman Ignite Foundation.
Through its Woman at Risk (WAR) Initiative, the Foundation provides therapy, life-skills training, business development support, financial management coaching and educational assistance to between 20 and 25 vulnerable women annually, including survivors of human trafficking and women transitioning out of at-risk environments.
Mrs. Nooks-Blake shared that for 2026, proceeds from the summit will go towards the Woman Ignite ‘Brick by Brick Relief Initiative’, which will provide direct support to single mothers whose homes were damaged during the recent hurricane.
“The funds that we receive is all going back to supporting five women. At least one woman from each parish. That’s the minimum,” she said.
Tickets cost US$195 and include refreshments throughout the day and access to an on-site pampering station.
