Full Complement of Government Senators Appointed

The Prime Minister, the Honourable Bruce Golding has named the additional persons who have been appointed Government Senators.
In a letter to the Governor General, The Most Honourable Professor Kenneth Hall, Prime Minister Golding advised that the six were: Dr. Oswald Harding, Mr. Ian Murray, Mr. Thomas Tavares-Finson, Mr. Desmond McKenzie, Mr. Dennis Meadows and Mrs. Hyacinth Bennett.
Their appointment took effect on Monday, 24th September 2007.
The Government Senators appointed before, were Mr. Warren Newby, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports; Mr. Aundre Franklyn, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Environment; Dr. Ronald Robinson, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade; Mr. Arthur Williams, Minister of State in the Ministry of National Security; Ms. Dorothy Lightbourne, Attorney General and Minister of Justice; Mr. Dwight Nelson, Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Finance and Public Service and Mr. Don Wehby, Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Finance and Public Service.
