Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, has expressed solidarity with all those affected by Hurricane Milton in the United States (US).

She reaffirmed that the Government and people of Jamaica stand with those impacted by both Hurricanes Milton and Helene, particularly in Florida, home to a significant portion of the Jamaican Diaspora.

In this time of rebuilding and resilience, the Minister extended heartfelt support and encouraged members of the Diaspora to contact the Jamaican Consulate in Miami for assistance, including access to State, Federal, and community resources.
