Minister of Science, Energy, Telecommunications and Transport, Hon. Darryl Vaz, outlines some of the features of one of five new buses retrofitted to accommodate physically challenged passengers. The units were among 50 new buses arriving in the island on Wednesday (August 23). The buses, which were offloaded on Friday (August 25) from the vessel shipping them that docked at the Port of Kingston, will boost the Jamaica Urban Transit Company’s (JUTC) fleet serving the Kingston Metropolitan Transport Region (KMTR).
