Dr. Robinson Visits Jamaican Diaspora in New York this Week-end

Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Dr. Ronald A. Robinson, will spend Sunday morning at a special worship service at the Bronx Westchester Community Church, 358 South Ninth Avenue, Mt. Vernon, New York.
The 11:00 am worship service will be the first annual one for the Union of Jamaican Alumni Associations (UJAA), and will be a part of the calendar of events for new president, Karlene Largie.
Consul General, Mrs. Geneive Brown Metzger, has wasted no time in solidifying her relationship with the UJAA. The partnership resulted in another successful staging of the union’s signature event, Mega Raffle, on Saturday, March 28, at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Queens.
Senator Robinson, who has portfolio responsibility for the Jamaican Diaspora, is championing the cause of the Diaspora Movement and has overseen the creation of the Jamaica Diaspora Foundation, the Jamaica Diaspora Institute and the Jamaica Diaspora Bond.
Before heading to church on Sunday, Dr. Robinson will meet with the Jamaican community in Brooklyn on Friday evening, and in the Bronx on Saturday evening.
He is also scheduled to meet Jamaican nationals in New Jersey, on Wednesday( April 22), Connecticut on Thursday(April 23) and Philadelphia on Friday and Saturday(April 24 and 25).
