Double the Fun This Summer with UDC Promotions

Residents and visitors are being encouraged to take advantage of the summer promotions being offered by the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) at its attractions, ahead of the September 1 end date.

The promotions, dubbed ‘Summer Escape’ and ‘Summa Adventure’, allow visitors to enjoy two attractions at unbeatable rates.

Business Development Manager, UDC, Denise Chin, told JIS News that the Summer Escape promotion features two of Jamaica’s top attractions – the World-Famous Dunn’s River Falls and Park, and Green Grotto Caves and Attraction, while the Summa Adventure promotion is a partnership between Green Grotto Caves and Sand and Saddle (formerly Braco Stables).

“The Summer Escape promotion includes the falls climb at Dunn’s River, zip-lining over the Dunn’s River Falls and the Green Grotto Caves tour. So, it’s two locations and it’s a bundle deal,” said Ms. Chin.

The associated costs include J$3,600 per person for residents and US$70 per person for non-residents.

A valid photo identification (ID) is required to access the resident rate.

Ms. Chin informed that guests may choose to start their adventure at either of the two properties; however, “all activities must be done on the same day”.

Regarding the Summa Adventure promotion, Ms. Chin indicated that guests will experience a one-hour guided tour of the Green Grotto Caves and a one-hour guided horseback trail and water ride at Sand and Saddle for a rate of J$9,000 per person for residents and US$90 per person for non-residents.

“They do have ride times, which is 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. We recommend that if you are going to do this promotion that you send us an e-mail [at greengrottocaves@udcja.com to reserve your ride time a day in advance,” said Ms. Chin.

She further emphasised that with the summer holiday ending, families, friends, church groups or visitors to the island should not hesitate to “make use” of the promotions and “double the fun”.

Tickets for the Summa Adventure promotion are to be purchased in person at Green Grotto Caves and Attraction, while persons may purchase tickets online at http://dunnsriverfallsja.com/ or in person at Dunn’s River Falls and Park for the Summer Escape promotion.
