Disruption in NIS Services as Labour Ministry Conducts Upgrade Work

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security wishes to advise members of the public that the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) computer system will undergo upgrading and maintenance between  Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 1, 2014.

This upgrade will serve to improve the efficiency of the NIS computer system.

During this time, there will be no access to the computer system, resulting in a disruption of normal service delivery.

The Ministry will not be able to issue NIS cards, process NIS claims or carry out NIS queries.

The Ministry regrets any inconvenience to clients, and advises that the system is scheduled to be back online on Monday, June 2, 2014.
