The sum, which is contained in the 2015/16 Estimates of Expenditure, now before Parliament, has been earmarked from a $100 million Government of Jamaica Consolidated Fund allocation.
The project aims to better position Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) to increase efficiency and effectiveness of its services to clients in Falmouth and its environs.
The expenditure will cover the building’s completion; as well as relocation of furniture, fittings, and staff to the new building, and commencement of operations.
