As part of its 110th anniversary celebrations, the Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) will be having for the first time at the Denbigh Agricultural Show, an invitational Chefs Competition on Sunday, July 31 at the Denbigh showgrounds in Clarendon.
The competition, which is by invitation only, will see Sous Chefs from various hotels across the island competing for the JAS 110th anniversary trophy and cash prizes, for the first and second place winners. All participants will be given certificates of participation.
Events Co-ordinator for Denbigh 2005, Doreen Hibbert told JIS News that a total of 10 contestants from hotels, including the Jamaica Pegasus, Hilton Kingston, Hedonism III, Knutsford Court and Strawberry Hill will vie for the coveted trophy.
