The 2022 LASCO Teacher of the Year and Founder/Organiser of the Boys’ Symposium, Jody Brown, shares the motivation behind his initiating the event with JIS News, during this year’s second staging at Rudolph Elder Park in St. Thomas on May 31. The event aims to empower boys attending primary schools in Portland and St. Thomas. This year’s attendees participated in several engagements, including troubleshooting equipment, cardboard recycling, art and craft, and jewellery making. An invitation was also extended to members of the wider public to interact with representatives of the various booths mounted by government and corporate entities.
