Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Beasc Technologies, Lancelot Riley (right), displays the International Business Model Competition (IBMC) champion’s trophy and winner’s cheque for US$30,000, which were presented to him by Founder and Chief Executive Officer for American firm, Alta Ventures, Paul Ahlstrom, during the 2018 IBMC, which took place in Utah, USA, from May 10 to 11. Beasc Technologies, which is affiliated with Northern Caribbean University (NCU), is the first Jamaican student-run business entity to win the IBMC, which is staged annually for tertiary institutions.
