Daryl Vaz, speaks at the ceremony to hand over 93 buses to the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) on Wednesday (July 16), at the Portmore JUTC bus depot in Braeton, St. Catherine. The Ministry handed over 63 compressed natural gas (CNG) powered and 30 diesel coach buses to the JUTC. An additional seven buses, specially modified to accommodate commuters with special needs, are expected to arrive in the island by August 2025.
