The Prime Minister was leading a delegation comprising CARICOM Heads of Government, international development partners and Cabinet Ministers, on a tour of some of the parishes hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa. The touring party also included Minister without Portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister responsible for Science, Technology and Special Projects, Dr. the Hon. Andrew Wheatley; Minister of Finance and the Public Service, Hon. Fayval Williams; Prime Minister of Barbados, Hon. Mia Mottley; CARICOM Secretary General, Dr. Carla Barnett; and President of Guyana, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali.
