Jamaica’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (UK), Her Excellency Aloun Ndombet Assamba (2nd right), shares with the three UK recipients of the Prime Minister’s Medal of Appreciation. From left are Cannon Evadne Pitts from Birmingham; Carlton Moody of the Lambeth Cricket Academy; and Attorney Barbara Ledgister. Mr. Moody and Rev Pitts received their awards at a special cultural evening recently hosted by the High Commission. Ms Ledgister received her medal at the official ceremony held in Jamaica in July.
