The event was the launch of Heat-Health Early Warnings (HHEWs) for the Caribbean Workshop held on April 16 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade’s downtown Kingston offices. It forms part of the President’s Emergency Plan for Adaptation and Resilience (PREPARE) Caribbean Early Warning System. The workshop brought together climate and health stakeholders in the Caribbean to help assess current capacity and challenges in advancing HHEWs.
