Businessman, Christopher Cargill, has been reappointed to serve as Chairman of the Board of the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ) for another two years, following an approval by Cabinet.

The appointment takes effect this month and is valid until June 2016.

Minister with responsibility for Information, Senator the Hon. Sandrea Falconer, made the disclosure on Wednesday, June 11, during the Jamaica House media briefing, at the Office of the Prime Minister.

Other members of the Board include: Alric Campbell, Patrick McIntosh, Noel DaCosta, Muna Issa, Marlon Lowe, Richard Dawkins, Sophia Lowe, Gregory Lawrence, Abbey Hill, Recardo James, and Richard Fonseca.

In the meantime, Minister Falconer said Cabinet has also approved the appointment of the Board of Directors for the Jamaica Bauxite and Mining Ltd (JBM). The Board will also serve for two years from June 2, 2014 to June 1, 2016.

Chairman of the Board is Attorney-at-law, Linton Walters, while the other members are: Dr. Conrad Douglas, Dr. Marie Freckleton, Dr. Margaret Sylvester-Reid, Brando Hayden, Marcia Davis, Coy Roache, and Karen Dawn Young.
