Cabinet Meets Wednesday

The usual Monday morning meeting of Cabinet will take place today (Wednesday, April 22). The meeting was rescheduled in light of the visit of Prime Minister of Canada, the Rt. Hon. Stephen Harper.
The visit also included a special joint sitting of the Houses of Parliament which took place on Monday, instead of the usual Tuesday meeting of the House of Representatives.
Minister without Portfolio with responsibility for Information and Telecommunications, the Hon. Daryl Vaz has advised that today’s rescheduled meeting of Cabinet will also result in a change of date for the post cabinet press briefing usually held on a Wednesday.
The next Post Cabinet Press briefing will take place next week Wednesday, April 29.
