Cabinet Goes into Retreat Sunday

Cabinet will begin a two-day retreat on Sunday, March 24.

Minister with responsibility for Information, Senator the Hon. Sandrea Falconer, made the announcement at the weekly Jamaica House press briefing on Wednesday, March 20.

She said that the Cabinet Ministers will discuss the various programmes and plans and the Government’s strategic priorities, as the new fiscal year approaches.

Focus will be placed on the growth agenda, including job creation strategies; human and capital development; social inclusion; improved security and safety; fiscal prudence; and the pursuit of a credible economic programme.
