Cabinet has approved a contract for approximately $67.1 million to Quality Plus Contract Company Ltd., for the provision of plant maintenance services at Petrojam Limited.

The contract, which is valid for two years, will see Quality Plus providing maintenance services for Petrojam’s operations at its Marcus Garvey Drive offices in Kingston and its Montego Bay terminal in St. James, as well as providing customer installations islandwide.

This was announced by Minister with responsibility for Information, Senator the Hon. Sandrea Falconer, at the Jamaica House press briefing, held at the Office of the Prime Minister on Thursday, June 6.

Minister Falconer informed that the contract requires the provision of skilled labour, with mechanical, welding, instrument and electrical expertise. The contractor, she said, will also provide unskilled labour to perform maintenance service at the agreed facilities.
