A sum of $100 million has been approved by Cabinet for the relocation of the offices of the Ministry of Justice.

The Ministry will be relocated from 2 Oxford Road, Kingston 5 to 61 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 10.

This was disclosed by Minister of Education, Youth and Information, Senator the Hon. Ruel Reid, at yesterday’s (March 22) post-Cabinet press briefing, held at the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), in Kingston.

The offices of the Ministry were ordered closed by the Kingston and St. Andrew Health Department, due to air quality.

Also of concern was the negative impact on the health of the staff and the operations of the Ministry and its departments.
