BGLC to Resume Operations on Friday

The Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) has advised that its offices located at 78cef Hagley Park Road in Kingston will remain closed today (July 4) following the passing of Hurricane Beryl.
Regular operations will resume Friday, July 5 at 8:30 a.m.
The BGLC further encourages citizens to continue taking all necessary precautions to ensure safety.
The BGLC is the regulator for Jamaica’s gaming industry. Its mandate includes oversight of the operation of betting and gaming and the conduct of lotteries.
The Commission grants permits, licences and approvals to persons or entities considered fit and proper to conduct betting, gaming and lottery activities.
It also protects the public from unfair, unscrupulous and illegal gambling activities, while encouraging those who participate in gambling to always practise responsible gaming.
