Minister of Information and Development, Donald Buchanan, who gave details of the contract at the (May 28) post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House, explained that the UDC currently operates seven subsidiaries and a main office in the parish.
He noted that Atlas Protection Limited has provided security services for these properties on a 24-hour basis for some 15 years, adding that the last contract expired on March 31 of this year.
