Former Minister of Finance and the Public Service, Dr. Nigel Clarke, is to be honoured by Atlanta-based Jamaican organisation, the Integrity Children’s Fund (ICF), during its upcoming 2026 gala, in recognition of his global leadership and contributions to Jamaica’s economic resilience.
The organisation announced that Dr. Clarke will be presented with the ICF Global Impact Award during its highly anticipated “Dinner En Rouge” gala, set for Saturday, May 16, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta.
He is being honoured for his strategic foresight and leadership, particularly his role in strengthening Jamaica’s national preparedness for extreme weather events.
In addition to his service as a Government Minister, Dr. Clarke has previously distinguished himself as a Member of Parliament, company director, and business executive.
The black-tie gala marks a significant milestone for the organisation as it celebrates 24 years of delivering hope and expanding educational opportunities for at-risk children in Jamaica and across metro Atlanta.
“Our 2026 gala is more than an evening of glamour; it is a mission to restore stability and opportunity for children whose futures were threatened by Hurricane Melissa,” said ICF Founder and President, Major (Ret’d) Karl Chambers.

A central focus of the evening will be ICF’s ongoing humanitarian initiatives, including updates on the rebuilding of Jacob’s Well Basic School, which sustained significant damage during the hurricane.
The organisation also remains committed to supporting early childhood institutions in Trelawny and Kingston, which serve children between the ages of two and six.
The evening promises a seamless blend of elegance and purpose, featuring live entertainment by Tori Lattore — a musical powerhouse celebrated for her velvety, captivating performances.
Guests will also indulge in a three-course gourmet dinner and enjoy a sophisticated cocktail reception.
Proceeds from the “Dinner En Rouge” gala directly sustain teacher salaries, literacy programmes such as the Book Buddies initiative, and vital infrastructure repairs at schools including Operation Restoration Christian School and Maranatha Basic School.
Since its founding in 2002, the Integrity Children’s Fund has invested more than $1.5 million in education initiatives, supporting nearly 600 students each year.
The non-profit organisation remains steadfast in its mission to reduce illiteracy among at-risk youth.
Through its programmes, the Integrity Children’s Fund supports remedial and early childhood education, empowering children in underserved communities in Jamaica and Atlanta to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures.
