Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports(MICYS), the Hon. Olivia Grange, says that the condition of Chief Justice, Mrs. Zaila McCalla, is back to normal.
“She is back to normal, she has stabilised, she is alert, she is conversing well and she is very comfortable,” Miss Grange said in a statement to JIS this afternoon.
However, she added that Mrs. McCall will remain in hospital for additional tests.
The Chief Justice was admitted to the Tony Thwaites Wing of the University Hospital of the West Indies on Tuesday night, after collapsing at a state function at Kings House in honour of the visiting King and Queen of Spain.
Mrs. McCalla was appointed Jamaica’s Chief Justice in 2007.
